During the attack, the jackal attacked children, the elderly and women. A group of jackals suddenly attacked the villagers. Foxes attack people in groups of four to five.

People said that 4 to 5 animals attacked simultaneously. Wild animals often target children. Babies are getting badly hurt by scratching. The injured children have been admitted to SKMCH for treatment. The condition of children is very bad. There is fear in the village. Villagers keep vigil throughout the night and guard the village. During the day, people go to work in the fields with sticks.
A forest department team is conducting a search operation
The informants said that after the attack, the jackal hides in the thick bushes. After receiving the information, the forest department team is conducting a search operation to find the jackal. So far not a single jackal has been caught in three places. Forest department officials have advised people not to venture out at night. Also, going alone to work in the fields is prohibited.
