Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss is going to enter Colors TV once again with season 18. His fans are very excited to meet Salman Khan after almost a year. Not only Colors TV but also Bigg Boss Hindi producers Banjay Asia and Endemol Shine are gearing up to make Salman Khan’s show a hit. In order for Salman to enter the TRP charts with swag and to avoid any competition from any reality show, the makers of the show have decided to shut down their superhit show prematurely.
In fact, Riteish Deshmukh’s Bigg Boss Colors Marathi aired 70 days before Bigg Boss started. This famous Bollywood actor was hosting Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 for the first time. This debut reality show of Ritesh Deshmukh got a lot of love from the audience. Currently the TRP of the show is 4.5. That is, in terms of ratings, this show is far ahead of Hindi TV’s number one show Anupama. Rupali Ganguly’s Anupama rating is 2.5. That means the biggest threat to Salman’s show was not from Anupama but from Riteish Deshmukh’s show and so the makers have decided to take Riteish Deshmukh’s Bigg Boss off air.

Ritesh’s show was over in 70 days
Usually the format of Bigg Boss is 100 days and if it gets good ratings on the TRP chart then the show is extended. But despite garnering great ratings, Riteish Deshmukh’s show has packed up for Salman Khan’s show in 70 days. Marathi viewers are very upset with this decision of the makers. But the makers don’t want to take any risk with Salman’s show. As per the information received by TV9 Hindi Digital from sources, just as Marathi viewers watch Hindi Bigg Boss, Hindi viewers are also watching Marathi shows. Many faces of the Hindi industry like Abhijit Sawant, Nikki Tamboli and Arbaaz Patel are part of the latest season of Bigg Boss Marathi and hence the makers decided to take the show off air soon. However, it was said by the makers that they are taking the show off-air soon to make the show as interesting as T20.

Riteish Deshmukh’s show got sacrificed
In fact, to avoid any clash between Bigg Boss Marathi and Bigg Boss Hindi, the team of Bigg Boss Marathi took a long break of almost 1 year. He expected that the third season of Bigg Boss OTT will not be on air this year and at that time he will launch season 5 of Bigg Boss Marathi. But suddenly Bigg Boss OTT 3 was announced and all the Marathi team’s calculations proved wrong and they had to start Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 in the time window between Bigg Boss OTT 3 and Bigg Boss 18.
