Big relief to Pooja Khedkar, no arrest till August 21, Delhi HC orders

Sacked Maharashtra IAS officer Pooja Khedkar has got a major relief from the Delhi High Court. The court has ordered the Delhi Police not to arrest Pooja till August 21. Delhi Police has registered a case against Pooja for cheating in the civil services exam. Taking note of Pooja Khedkar’s anticipatory bail application, Justice Subramaniam Prasad said that considering the facts of the present case, the court is of the opinion that the petitioner should not be arrested till the next hearing. The Delhi High Court will hear Pooja Khedkar’s bail plea on August 21. However, the court said that Pooja Khedkar will have to cooperate with the investigation.
