Pune, 2024: NCP President Sharad Pawar has officially announced that he will not be walking in the upcoming Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage to Pandharpur. This clarification comes after widespread rumors suggesting his participation on July 7th alongside the pilgrims in Tukobha’s procession.
Sharad Pawar’s Statement
In a press conference in Pune, Pawar addressed the speculation, stating, “The news that I will be walking from Baramati to Sansar with the Wari is false. (Pune News) The procession passes through my village, and I will be there for a day to welcome the pilgrims. However, I will not be walking with the procession.”

Pawar also lauded the Indian cricket team’s performance in the T20 World Cup, remarking, “There was a time when Australia, England, and South Africa dominated world cricket.
