Will there be an alliance with Congress?

Ahead of the assembly elections, the political equation in Haryana is changing rapidly. Former Haryana Deputy CM and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala has made it clear that his party will no longer form an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Dushyant Chautala has started this with Haryana Rajya Sabha seat election. After taking a different path in the Lok Sabha polls, he has now announced that his party is ready to support the Congress for this seat.

However, Dushyant Chautala has also placed a condition before the Congress party for this. Dushyant Chautala has said that if the Congress makes any eminent person from the state, a Commonwealth or Olympic gold medalist as a joint candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections, his party is ready to support him.

There is no point in going with BJP

Dushyant Chautala said that there is no reason to go with BJP from now on. He said that his party has suffered a lot by going with the BJP. Dushyant Chautala also said that his party will rebuild its support base in the state. He will hold a meeting with his workers at the district level. He announced that his party would soon work on a strategy to motivate workers in all 22 districts of Haryana.

Dushyant’s attack on the paper leak issue as well

Dushyant Chautala is also a constant attacker of the present government of Haryana. He has also hit out at the BJP on issues ranging from law and order in the state to NEET paper leaks. He said that the paper leak is a serious issue, the matter should be investigated under the supervision of a Supreme Court judge. He said that if the paper leak is not stopped, the future of talented students will be dark.

Why did the relationship between BJP-JJP break?

After nearly four-and-a-half years of running the government together in Haryana, relations between the BJP and the JJP hit a snag ahead of the Lok Sabha elections last March. Manohar Lal Khattar resigned from the post of CM. After this, Naib Singh Saini became the new Chief Minister of the state. After this incident, there was a crack in the relationship between BJP-JJP in Haryana. And Dushyant Chautala lost the post of Deputy CM. Later, breaking his silence, he said that no agreement could be reached between BJP and JJP on seat sharing.
