In a meeting presided over by Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, it has been decided that BR Ambedkar’s photo will be compulsorily displayed in annual government programs as well. This order of the government will be applicable to all programs held in all government offices, government-owned institutions and schools-colleges of the state. After the execution of this order, you will also see BR Ambedkar’s photo kept with Mahatma Gandhi.

After the government’s decision, Bharat Ratna Dr.BR Ambedkar’s photo will be installed in all institutions, schools, colleges and government offices for annual programs in the state. This decision of the government has been welcomed by the supporters of Dr. BR Ambedkar.

After the Cabinet meeting chaired by CM Siddaramaiah, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister HK Patil held a press conference and informed the decisions taken in the meeting. In this meeting, on the occasion of Mysore Medical College and Research Institute celebrating its centenary, an allocation of Rs 75 crore has been announced in the 2024-25 budget for the development of the college. Discussion on commencement of assembly session

HK Patil said that after fixing the date, place and time for convening the session of both the houses of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, the Cabinet has decided to recommend to the Hon’ble Governor to convene the session of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly and the Karnataka Legislative Council. The right to fix the date has been given to the Chief Minister, the session will start after the Chief Minister decides the date.
