A big meeting will be held in Uttar Pradesh today under the chairmanship of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Bhupendra Chaudhary. During this period, the second phase of the membership campaign will be reviewed. BJP MLAs and MPs will also attend this meeting. The meeting will be held at Visveshwarai Auditorium, Lucknow.
According to sources, today’s meeting will discuss the by-elections to be held in 10 seats of the state and the preparations for the 2027 assembly elections. It is possible that the party will take lessons from the BJP’s poor performance in the last Lok Sabha elections and enter the polls with more strength.
By-elections to 10 seats
Of the 10 seats to be held in UP, five were held by the Samajwadi Party and three by the BJP. So, the BJP wants to not only win its own seats but also dunk on the seats of the Samajwadi Party camp.

Let us tell you that the BJP suffered a major setback in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. The party won 62 seats in 2019, while this has reduced to 33 in the 2024 elections. At the same time, the party’s vote share has also declined by 8.50 percent. This is the reason why BJP is constantly reviewing the results.

Bhupendra Chaudhary said about the UP by-election that the organization is in a strong position. We are fully prepared for the by-elections. He said that the BJP will complete the organizational structure and enter the election arena with preparation. We are confident that only BJP will get the blessings of the people of Uttar Pradesh.
