In mid-election, the Mahayutti government has kept a special eye on women and youth in the Mandalay budget. The reason is that Moffat and Freesia schemes have been announced by Finance Minister Ajit Pawarani. It has been announced to give 1500 rupees per month to women aged 21 to 60 from next month under Chief Minister Mari Ladki Behan Yojana. Another important announcement is about the cylinder. Eligible family members will get 3 cylinders free.

1500 rupees and 3 cylinders are eligible for low class, poor women and families. That means yellow and orange ration card holders are middle class. Servant women, women income tax filers, women with automatic vehicles will not get Rs 1500 and 3 cylinders free.

Madhya Pradesh’s Ladkibehan Yojana benefited the BJP in the assembly elections. So the pattern is of BJP in Maharashtra. Under the Sarovar Ladki Yojana, a provision of Rs 46,000 crore has been made to provide Rs 1,500 per month to women between the ages of 21 and 60. Under Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana, 52 lakh 16 thousand families will get 3 gas cylinders for free. The grant given to women in group marriage will be increased from 10 thousand to 25 thousand rupees. Medical, engineering and agriculture related courses will be free for families with annual income of 8 lakhs. From 2023-24, under the Lake Ladki Yojana, a girl will be given Rs 1 lakh in installments from birth till she turns 18. All sub-district government hospitals in Maharashtra will be screened for breast and uterine cancer.

The government has decided to waive farm pump tax bill for farmers. Farmers driving motor vehicles up to 7.5 horse power will be exempted from fuel pump bill. Diva will provide funding for unbroken seed supply to farmers. Sugarcane producing farmers will get a grant of Rs 851 crore 66 lakh at the rate of Rs 350 per quintal. Farmers will get assistance of Rs 5,000 per hectare for cotton, soybean and cow milk, from July, farmers will be given a subsidy of Rs 5,000 per hectare.

The Mahayuti government should start a scheme of 10 thousand rupees per month for unemployed youth. Under the Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme, 10 lakh young men and women will get Rs 10,000 for apprenticeship every year.

Mahayutila got a big hit in Lok Sabha and 30 MPs were elected from Mahavikas Aghadi.. So the opposition parties announced assembly elections to be held in October. But Fadnavis has said that the budget is not for elections but for determination.

The government has given special attention to women, farmers and youth in the supplementary budget. That means voting is clearly underway… a decision will be made in the October election.
