Income tax changes in the budget.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made major changes in the income tax system and at the same time has given a big gift to the middle class in the budget. The government has increased the standard deduction limit from Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000 in the new tax regime. With this, the common man’s tax-free income will be Rs 7.75 lakh.
