Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian
On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian met farmers gathered under the banner of BKU (Ugrah) and Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union (PKMU) at Matka Chowk here. The Agriculture Minister received the demand letter from the farmers and assured them that their welfare is the highest priority of the state government.
Reiterating the Punjab government’s commitment to the interests of the farmers of the state, Gurmeet Singh Khuddiyan assured that their demands would be sympathetically and positively considered by the Chief Minister. The Agriculture Minister invited the farmers for a dialogue emphasizing the policy of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to interact with the farmers, listen to their views and resolve their issues and problems effectively.
Work will be done for the welfare of farmers
Gurmeet Singh Khuddian said, Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is fully dedicated to ensure the well-being and prosperity of farmers, as farmers are not only our food providers but also the backbone of the state’s economy. He said – this meeting is the beginning of an open dialogue between the government and the farming community, which aims to find solutions to the challenges of farmers and enable them to thrive in a developing agricultural infrastructure.

He said the government is committed to working shoulder to shoulder with farmers to resolve their problems and ensure their continued well-being.
