In Bihar’s Begusarai district, the brutal face of the mob was once again seen. The mob caught two youths accused of stealing a goat, then tied them to a stake and beat them severely. Both the youths were seriously injured in the beating. Both were admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment, where one youth died during treatment. While the condition of another youth is critical.
The incident took place in Bhawanandpur village of Birpur police station area. Both the youths have been identified as Rahul Kumar and Mohit Kumar, residents of Birpur police station area. The two youths were fleeing after stealing a goat from Bhawanandpur on Friday morning when people spotted them. Both were on bikes so people also chased them on bikes. His bike suddenly broke down near Bhawanandpur. People who reached the spot grabbed them and started beating them. Not satisfied even with this, they tied both the youths to a peg and beat them mercilessly.

After the beating, both were handed over to the police in injured condition. The police immediately took both the accused youths to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for treatment. Both were admitted here for treatment. The police recorded the statement of Mohit and Rahul in critical condition. Mohit said that we both begged people for mercy. He declared himself innocent, but still people were not ready to believe. People tied him to a peg and beat him.
SP formed a team for investigation
Mohit Kumar died during treatment after recording his statement. While Rahul Kumar’s condition is critical. Currently, Begusarai police is busy investigating the entire matter.
