A strange game is going on in a cowshed in Gunga district of Madhya Pradesh. Here, the number of cows mentioned in the cowshed records is not available on the spot. A similar case has also come up in Gunga’s Manikhedi Gaushala. Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh here conducted a surprise inspection on Wednesday and found 96 cows on record, but only 25 cows at the spot. The collector questioned the cowshed manager about this. He was then told that 69 cows had gone to a nearby forest to graze.

After 24 hours on Tuesday, the collector again wanted to inquire about these cows, but the cowshed manager could not give any concrete answer. Now Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh has instructed Tehsildar Bersia Lakhan Singh Chaudhary to investigate the entire matter. According to the tehsildar, when he himself arrived for investigation, the records still contained details of only 96 cows, but only 50 cows were found at the spot. The cowshed management could not give any concrete answer regarding the remaining cows.

The manager of the cowshed could not give a concrete answer

He has submitted his report to DM. According to officials, the collector who came for a surprise inspection inquired from the cowshed manager about the food, water and fodder arrangements for the cows. Meanwhile, the manager of the cowshed could not give concrete answers. This made the collector suspicious and he inspected the cowshed again the next day. Now after this malpractice came to light, the collector has asked to verify the complete records of this cowshed.
