Deceased Mohammad Shah Alam
These days, the news of suicide is constantly coming up. For one reason or another, people become so disturbed and stressed that they decide to end their lives. One such case has come to light from Motihari in Bihar, where a youth committed suicide by hanging due to stress. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shah Alam, a retired Air Force soldier.
According to the information, Mohammad Shah Alam, a retired air force soldier living in Lakshmipur of Kaurihar panchayat, adjacent to Raxaul town of East Champaran district, committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. In the morning when his family members went to wake up Shah Alam, his body was hanging with a fan in the room. Seeing this, the family members were shocked and there were cries everywhere. Hearing the sound, the surrounding people also reached his house.
Accused of torturing wife and in-laws
People reported the incident to Raxaul Police Station. After which the police reached the spot and took the body down from the fan and sent it for postmortem. According to information, the deceased Mohammad Shah Alam also wrote a suicide note before hanging. In which he stated that he is very angry with his wife Sajia. He accused his wife Sajia and her family of torturing him. Shah Alam wrote in the note that he is being tortured continuously by his in-laws, so he is under a lot of stress and doesn’t want to die anymore, so he commits suicide.

There was an argument about money
It is being said that Shah Alam’s wife Sazia moved to Dubai with a man after 2005. Where he runs a beauty parlour, the deceased’s brother Sajid said Shah Alam retired in January 2024 and ran a drug store in his village Lakshmipur. Shah Alam’s wife, his father-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law were constantly harassing him for money, as Shah Alam received a large sum of money after retirement. The in-laws demanded half the amount. The deceased’s brother also said that a case is pending between Shah Alam and his wife Sazia in the airport court.
‘Abu committed suicide because of his mother’
Shah Alam and Sazia have two children. Both lived with their father. Both the children are crying due to the death of their father. The 14-year-old son said that there was a court case between his mother and father in which the father won. He stated that his father was in a severe depression due to his mother’s black deeds which led to his suicide.
