An incident that shames humanity has come to light in Maniari village of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. A girl was married here in a Dalit family. When the wedding procession arrived at night, some miscreants blocked the way of the wedding procession and fought. Exceeding all limits of cruelty, the goons misbehaved with the girl’s family and tore their clothes. After this he was beaten a lot. He was attacked with a knife and a stone and his head was broken.
Exceeding all limits of brutality, the goons even urinated in the mouth of a young man of the family. The goons who killed him belonged to the same village. He was left in the same condition after being beaten. The incident was reported to the police. Police station chief Devvrat Kumar said that an FIR has been lodged in this matter. The case is being investigated, the accused will be arrested soon.
Villagers are threatened with arson
When the miscreants created a ruckus and started abusing the husband and wife of a Dalit family, the villagers wanted to save them, the miscreants threatened to set fire to all the villagers and kill them. In this case, the husband and wife have registered an FIR at the Maniyari police station against three unknown assailants, naming the powerful father-son from the same village.
The victim said that there was a wedding of Devendra Manjhi’s daughter in Manjhi Tola. Due to the mud on the road, the villagers spread mud to prevent the wedding procession. Enraged by this, the miscreants beat him up. He then took out a knife and attacked her. When even that was not enough, the miscreants urinated in the mouth. When the wife protested, he beat her and tore her clothes.
