Major tragedy at Delhi IAS Coaching Centre
A UPSC student has told the entire story of the Delhi coaching accident. The lives of these three students who dreamed of a bright future ended. If anyone is responsible for the death of the three, it is negligence. This negligence led to the drowning of the three children in the basement. The truth told by an eyewitness student (Hirdesh Chauhan) is very surprising.
Hirdesh Chauhan said, ‘I am one of the survivors of this horrific incident. Within 10 minutes the basement was full. It was 6.40 pm, we called the police and NDMA, but they reached after 9 pm, by then three of my colleagues had lost their lives, three are hospitalized, pray for them.

‘No exit gate on 12 feet high wall’
At the same time, Vishnu, another eyewitness, said that a loud scream was heard at the time the accident took place. Children were shouting and a large crowd had gathered. There is a wall around 12 feet high at the back of the institute but there is no exit gate, while other coaching centers built nearby also have an exit gate at the back so that someone can be taken out safely in case of any accident. .
What did the Delhi Fire Department say about the incident?
About this incident, Director of Delhi Fire Department Atul Garg said that at around 7:10 pm yesterday we received a call that some children are trapped in the basement in Karol Bagh area. When we arrived at the scene, the basement was flooded. Earlier we had to pump the water but when we tried to do so the water from the street flowed back into the basement. As the water level receded, we drained the basement. Then the children were rescued. It took a lot of time. The basement was 12 feet and therefore took a lot of time. We have recovered the bodies of three students. This is the subject of investigation.
