The woman alleged that her husband locked her in a room and beat her badly for dowry. At the same time, when the woman protested her husband’s beatings, the husband tried to strangle her to death. The woman alleged that after beating her, her husband, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law forcibly held her and fed her rat poison.
