Arrested for murder in Barabanki
The police have solved the Vikas murder case that took place two months ago in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh and arrested the accused of the murder. The reason behind the murder in this case shocked everyone. A man arrested on charges of murder has claimed that he killed Vikas to save his daughters’ honor. The police produced the accused in the court and sent him to jail.
Barabanki Additional Superintendent of Police Dakshin Akhilesh Narayan said that on June 2, Sanjay, a resident of Raunhar Majer Anwari, filed a complaint at the police station. He told the police that on May 31, 2024, at 3 pm, his son Vikas had gone out to defecate. Vikas did not come back home again after that day. Vikas is 18 years old. The body of Vikas was found in the forest near the cold store at 6.30 pm on the same day after a heavy search by the family members. The family members suspected that Vikas’ death was not normal, that someone must have killed him and dumped him in the forest.
Used to harass girls
The accused told the police that the deceased used to harass the daughters of Vikas Amresh Kumar frequently. Even after several attempts, when he did not let go of his antics, the accused decided to kill Vikas. One day the accused killed Vikas and left him there near the forest. Vikas’s murder looks like suicide so he hangs Vikas’s body on a tree. On the day of the incident, the accused himself saw that the deceased Vikas was calling his daughters by doing dirty acts. The girls of the accused had gone to the forest to defecate.
How did the police explain this?
After getting the information about this incident, the Kursi police registered a case against an unknown person. After this all the aspects connected with the incident were examined. After the post-mortem report and the interrogation of Vikas, the police needle also turned towards the murder. The entire matter came to light after a thorough investigation by the police. An attempt has been made to make it look like suicide by brutally killing Vikas. The police team arrested Amresh Kumar, the accused of the murder. ASP said that during the investigation it was found that the deceased Vikas used to harass the daughters of accused Amresh Kumar frequently.
