Seeing this work of Didi, the department has also given a reward of lakhs of rupees and now she has got an opportunity to participate in the flag hoisting ceremony organized at the Red Fort.
Eight Lakhpati Didis from Uttar Pradesh have been selected to participate in the Independence Day program to be held on August 15 at Delhi’s Red Fort. The name of Vidyut Sakhi Rajshree Shukla of Barabanki is also included in these eight sisters. Rajshree will reach Delhi with her husband Himanshu Trivedi. Both got married during their graduation studies. Even after marriage, Rajshree did not give up his studies and completed his post-graduation.
8.86 crore revenue has been received
With this, Rajshri started working with self-help groups. At the same time, a few years later, she joined the National Rural Livelihood Mission and became a Vidyut Sakhi. During this period, he deposited the electricity bills of about 42,593 customers in three years, which led to a revenue of Rs 8.86 crore to the Madhyamanchal Vidyut Vitraan Nigam. After this, Rajshree received Rs 11.48 lakh as commission from the Electricity Department.
