In such a situation, the team of food department has become active in other religious places of the country. Food department teams are continuously collecting food samples in many cities of UP. Now the administration is on alert in Mathura as well. The administration has started taking samples from many shops selling prasad.
Mathura, the city of Sri Krishna, is a religious city where lakhs of devotees visit. Devotees offer peda or other sweetmeats to their Lord to receive prasad. Mathura trees are world famous. Its sales are also highest here. Near all the temples most of the devotees coming from outside offer peda as prasad. After that, they take the peda with them to their homes as a symbol of Mathura.
Anger among friends and saints
There is a lot of anger among the saints of Vrindavan-Mathura after the news of adulteration of prasad in Tirupati Balaji came to light. He says that sweets should be tested in Mathura district as well. After the displeasure of saints and sages, the food department here has become alert. After this, samples of Prasad sold in shops near Thakur Sri Banke Bihari Temple, Dwarkadhish Temple and various temples in Mathura Vrindavan were taken. It also includes peda and other sweets.
Panic among traders
Panic spread among the traders when the food department team came to the market to take samples. Giving more information about this, Goswami Ashish Goswami of Thakur Sri Banke Bihari Mandir said that just as special care is taken for the convenience of Prasad, various things should be taken care of while making Prasad to maintain its purity.
