For this financial assistance provided by the US side, an agreement was signed in Dhaka between AKM Shahabuddin, Additional Secretary to the Finance Minister of Bangladesh, and Reed J. Eshliman, Director of the American International Development Organization. According to the Bangladesh Finance Ministry, this money will be used for the welfare of youth, improving health services and increasing business opportunities.
