Bal Gopal scheme will be closed in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Bal Gopal Scheme: In Rajasthan, the BJP government led by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma is preparing to change another scheme of Gehlot Raj. The Education Department has started preparations to discontinue Bal Gopal Dudh Yojana in primary schools across the state. Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar indicated that not all school students are benefiting from the scheme.

Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar while talking to reporters on Thursday said that in the current situation not all students are getting the benefit of Bal Gopal Yojana. Keeping this in mind, the education department is thinking of giving millets instead of milk to school students. At the same time, the Rajasthan Teachers Union has termed this decision as wrong.

‘It is not possible to milk a cow’

Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that there are a large number of school students in Rajasthan who do not want to drink powdered milk. It is not possible to provide quality cow milk in all those places on time. Because quality cow’s milk is not guaranteed to be available everywhere. So in the current situation giving millet instead of liquid is also being considered. He also hinted that the Bal Gopal milk scheme may be discontinued.

The teachers’ union had raised objections against this decision

At the same time, the Rajasthan Teachers Union has termed this decision as wrong. Rajasthan Teachers Union State President Shekhawat Mahaveer Sihag objected to the Education Minister’s decision. Sihag said that nothing is more nutritious than milk for young children. There is no substitute for milk. Children have been given milk under the Bal Gopal Yojana for a long time. It was also getting meaningful results.

Mahaveer Sihag further said that the sudden increase in milk quality and non-availability of milk is beyond comprehension. Cow’s milk is not available anywhere in Rajasthan. He said that giving bajri is a different thing. Government can also provide this to school children but there is no substitute for milk. According to him, such a decision of the education department is completely wrong.
