Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat will join Congress
The country’s star wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat will join hands with the Congress during the Haryana assembly elections. Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia will join the Congress party under the leadership of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi on Friday. Both the star wrestlers will join the party at the Congress headquarters at 2 pm.
Congress is preparing to field both wrestlers in the Haryana election battle. Bajrang Punia can contest from Sonepat district assembly seat, while Vinesh Phogat has an option to contest from Charkhi Dadri, Julana and Badhda.
