The search for a sixth wolf continues in Bahraich
Wolves have created a ruckus in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. So far 10 people have lost their lives in wolf attacks, while more than 30 people have been injured. The forest department team claimed that there was a pack of 6 wolves, which were targeting humans. Out of which 5 wolves have been caught. Now the picture of the sixth wolf has been captured in the forest department’s drone camera. The wolf was hiding in a sugarcane field.
According to the officials of the forest department, the pictures of the sixth wolf have been captured in the drone camera in Mahasi area. The wolf came here in the sugarcane field. He ran away when the team reached the farm to catch him. This wolf has fatally attacked many innocent people. The people of the area also call this wolf the lame wolf. Many people claim that this wolf walks with a limp. Forest department officials say that the wolf is hiding somewhere in Mahasi area. The team is conducting a continuous search operation. Soon this wolf too will be caged.
Lame wolf more dangerous than his companions
Locals claim that the lame wolf is more dangerous than its companions. He attacks stealthily in the darkness of night. It targets children and the elderly the most. A child was attacked by a wolf while sleeping on the terrace on Sunday night. The family members immediately rushed him to a local hospital, from where the doctors referred him to the Bahraich District Hospital, observing his critical condition.
10 people were killed in the wolf attack
Man-eating wolves have been terrorizing Bahraich for over three months. 9 out of 10 people who died in wolf attacks were children. The forest department claims that now only one wolf roams the area. But the locals don’t seem satisfied with this claim. He says how can a wolf do so many attacks? Meanwhile, on Sunday, CM Yogi Adityanath himself reviewed wolf-infested areas in Bahraich. He has instructed the officials to catch the wolf at the earliest.
