‘Baby John’ is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Theri’.

The release date of ‘Baby John’ has been announced. Varun’s film will compete directly with Vikrant Massey and Rashi Khanna’s ‘The Sabarmati Report’. Because this film of his will be a hit in theaters along with Baby John. Both films belong to different genres and may appeal to different audiences. Both the films are releasing on 2nd August.

Vikrant Massey’s film is based on the true story of the Godhra train fire. Massey’s ‘The Sabarmati Report’ could benefit from his last year’s ’12th Fail’. His film got a lot of love from the audience. At the same time, now people are choosing to watch action movies. In such a situation, it remains to be seen who will rule the box office, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ or ‘Baby John’.

Baby is directed by John Callis. The film is made under the banner of Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios and A for Apple Productions. In this film, Keerthy Suresh will be seen in the lead role along with Varun Dhawan. This is his first Hindi film. Varun’s ‘Baby John’ is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Theri’. Varun’s film was earlier slated to release on May 31. But it got delayed due to non-completion of its post-production work. But now the makers are ready to bring the film.
