He said that as a player he will continue to contribute to the team.
Relinquished the captaincy of Pakistan for the second time
However, Babar Azam quit Pakistan’s captaincy after the ODI World Cup last year. But then in April this year PCB decided to keep him as the captain in white ball cricket. Under the captaincy of Babar, Pakistan also played the T20 World Cup this year. Now Babar Azam has completely resigned from the captaincy of Pakistan.
