Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has encouraged many different disciplines for new technology and innovation in the country. He launched the Ayushman Yojana, which has been a boon in the health sector for the poor, providing free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Recently Prime Minister Modi has announced that under the Ayushman Yojana, people of all categories above 70 years of age will also get the benefit of this scheme.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister encourages innovation and new technology along with various disciplines. Dental treatment has a different importance in the changing times. The modern technology of dental implants will prove helpful in providing better medical services to the common people.
Innovation in the State in the field of Health Education
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that special efforts have been made to make it effective by linking the health department and health education in the state. The state government has made many innovations in the field of health education so that everyone in the state gets adequate benefit of health facilities. He also expressed the need to include dental treatment in Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The Chief Minister said that PMShri Air Ambulance facility has been started in the state for critical patients. In Madhya Pradesh, a special initiative has been taken to provide better medical services to the general public by medical colleges on PPP model. Chief Minister Dr Yadav also visited the exhibition at the conference premises.
Conference Organizing Chairman Dr. Manish Verma delivered the welcome speech and elaborated on the objective of organizing the conference. Dr. Sharad Shetty gave detailed information about the institute. Secretary Dr. Deepak Agrawal said that 18 sessions and 100 papers were presented on the first day of the conference. Scientific Chairman Dr. Shaleen Khetrapal said that one of the sessions was also industry-based, in which technicians from implant manufacturing companies were also present along with dentists.
Focus on dental implant methods
Dr. Shlomo Birson from Israel told the conference that implant technology is changing. He advised the doctors to stay updated about the technological innovations happening every day in the field of dentistry and medicine. It was said that now a patient’s entire denture can be fitted in just three hours. In the conference, Dr. Sudeep Boperdikar gave detailed information about the implant methods. He talked about making dental implants better and more efficient.
Top implantologists of the country participated in the conference organized by ISOI with the aim of promoting Make in India in dental implants. The conference will continue till September 29. More than 800 dentists participated in the conference. More than 60 national and international dental implant companies also participated in the trade fair.
During the scientific sessions, more than 40 national and international speakers shared their experiences gained from years of practice. Students were also trained on implant placement through a live workshop. Also, by promoting Make in India, companies were encouraged to manufacture quality and standardized dental implants in India. Common people will be able to benefit from it in the form of cheap treatment.
