Atishi became the new Chief Minister of Delhi

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi will be the new Chief Minister of Delhi. A meeting of the AAP legislative party was held on Tuesday, in which his name was approved. AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal proposed his name. All MLAs rose and accepted the motion. Delhi government minister and AAP leader Gopal Rai formally announced Atishi’s name. Gopal Rai also presented AAP’s plan for the new cabinet to the public.

Gopal Rai said that a meeting of the legislative party of Aam Aadmi Party was called today. In the meeting, the responsibility of Chief Minister was unanimously handed over to Atishi till the next elections of Delhi. He said Atishi was entrusted with the responsibility under difficult circumstances. The central government, the BJP and the Prime Minister conspired and used agencies to launch a campaign to topple the Delhi government, but the Aam Aadmi Party continued to work.

Targeting the BJP, Gopal Rai said that they tried to get Arvind Kejriwal to resign in jail, but Kejriwal decided that the work of the people should not be stopped. Will not resign in jail. I will resign after coming out of jail. BJP slandered Arvind Kejriwal’s integrity, so Arvind Kejriwal decided that the Supreme Court of the country had thrown him out but he would go to the people’s court and sit on the chair when the people elected him.
