Asaduddin Owaisi’s slogan after oath taking, huge uproar in Parliament

After a huge uproar, AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi took oath in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. After taking oath, Owaisi raised the slogan ‘Jai Palestine’. To which other members objected. After the confusion, Radha Mohan Singh ordered to remove this word from the proceedings. BJP leader G Kishan Reddy opposed Owaisi’s announcement and demanded to remove it from the record. After the protest, Owaisi said that he (G Kishan Reddy) opposes, it is his job. We said what I wanted to say. Why should I say anything to please him?

Order to strike out words from record

After taking oath, Owaisi raised the slogan ‘Jai Bhim, Jai Mim, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine…’. MP Shobha Karandlaje raised a question on this. After this, other members of the Parliament also objected to Jai Palestine. When the controversy over this increased, Radha Mohan Singh ordered to remove it from the record.

G Kishan Reddy said that on one hand they used to talk about the constitution and on the other hand they used to raise slogans against the constitution. It is wrong to sing Palestinian songs while living in India. Such incidents have revealed the real face of these people. These people do the same on every issue.

Oath taken in Urdu

Owaisi took oath as minister in Urdu. When his name was called for taking oath, some MPs raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Some MPs also raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram. When Owaisi reached the stage to take oath, he first raised the slogan of Jai Bhim. After this, he took oath in Urdu. After this, slogans of Jai Bhim, Jai Mim, Jai Telangana, Jai Palestine were raised.

Owaisi is MP for the fifth time

Asaduddin Owaisi has won from Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency for the fifth consecutive time. This time Asaduddin Owaisi got a total of 6,61,981 votes and defeated BJP’s Madhavi Lata by 3,38,087 votes. In the 2019 elections, Owaisi won with a total of 58.95% votes.
