Arvind Kejriwal has approached the Supreme Court against the ban on bail in the money laundering case linked to the liquor scam. He has appealed against the Delhi High Court’s interim stay order. Today, Kejriwal’s petition is being heard in the Supreme Court at 12 noon. A vacation bench of Justice Manoj Mishra and Justice SVN Bhati will hear the case.

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court recently granted regular bail to Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor scam case, but the lower court’s decision was challenged by the ED in the Delhi High Court. A hearing was held regarding this. During the hearing, the Delhi High Court had put an interim stay on Kejriwal’s bail. The court said that the bail will be withheld till the hearing is over. After this, Kejriwal has approached the Supreme Court.

The petition has challenged the order of the Delhi High Court. The High Court had put an interim stay on Kejriwal’s bail. CM Kejriwal has once again applied to the Supreme Court as a ‘petitioner in person’.
