Jaya Bachchan slammed Arshad Warsi
Arshad Warsi started his career with the film ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ in 1996. Since then till now he has played every type of character. Be it the role of Circuit in ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ or the role of Madhav in ‘Golmaal’, he has played every role very well. Now in an interview, Arshad Warsi recalls the early days of his career and says that his outspoken style led him to face problems in the industry.
Arshad Warsi said that he was even scolded by Jaya Bachchan for his outspoken behavior. Recalling his early days, he said, “I was new to the film industry and had absolutely no understanding of the industry. I come from a different world. During my first film ‘Tere Mere Sapne’, we had to go to Hyderabad for shooting and I sat in the flight wearing underwear and a vest. Earlier they used to walk around like this, dancing and dancing. When Jayaji came to know about this, I got a message, ‘Ask Shri Warsi to wear proper clothes.’
Keep your opinion to yourself
Along with this, Arshad said that once Jaya Bachchan did not like his outspoken opinion and said, “Once Jayaji called me for a film. She used to call people to know their opinion. He asked me how was the film? I replied ‘nonsense’ she took me to a corner and told me to keep my opinion to myself. This is a lesson.”
