Accused injured in encounter
An encounter took place between a gang dealing in fake notes and the police in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar district. One of the accused was injured during the police encounter. The name of the injured accused is Mustaqeem. According to the information, there was a reward of 25 thousand rupees on the head of the accused Mustakim. Police have also seized weapons from the accused. The police have shifted the injured accused to the hospital for treatment.
The police had an encounter with two miscreants in Bintolia village of Kushinagar. During the encounter, miscreants fired at the police. The police fired in retaliation. An accused criminal was injured in police firing. According to the information, the criminal was shot in the leg. The police demanded from the accused Rs. 30 thousand fake notes have been seized.
Police are looking for the leader of the gang
Police have arrested 10 people in this case. According to the police, 10 people have been arrested before the encounter. These people were working as a gang. The gang used to mix fake notes with genuine notes in the market. The leader of the gang is Rafi Khan alias Bablu, the national secretary of the Lohia Vahini of the Samajwadi Party. According to the police, two of the 10 people arrested belong to the Samajwadi Party.
The BJP has slammed the involvement of Samajwadi Party people in gangs dealing in fake notes. The BJP taunted and said that wherever the culprit is, it turns out to be a socialist.

The police have recovered a country-made pistol and bullets from the accused who was injured in the encounter. According to the police, a reward of 25 thousand rupees was announced on the head of the accused. Several cases have been registered against the accused. The police demanded from the accused Rs. 30,000 fake notes and genuine notes of Rs.10,000 have been found. Earlier, during the operation, police recovered Rs. 5.62 lakh fake notes were found. Apart from India, fake notes of Nepal were also found among the seized notes.
