Kumari Selja, Mallikarjun Khadge
Amid the ongoing internal strife in the Haryana Congress, Kumari Selja has given an ultimatum to the party. Selja said he would not campaign until the matter was resolved. In fact, according to sources, Kumari Selja, upset over the seat sharing, met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge yesterday i.e. Sunday evening. Selja expressed his displeasure in this meeting.
After this Kharge assured Selja to resolve the matter and asked for a day or two for this. In response to which Selja said that if the matter is resolved in two days, he will start election campaign. Angry with the Congress high command and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Selja has not campaigned in Haryana since September 12.

On the other hand, Randeep Surjewala of the Selja camp tweeted that Kumari Selja will address an election rally in Narwana on September 26. Meanwhile, both the rallies scheduled for this afternoon in Haryana were cancelled. This is also being linked to the Congress controversy in Haryana. However, the party cited Kharge’s ill health as the reason.
Today I will address 22 public meetings in Narwana for Congress candidate Mr. Satbir Dublen. The flag of Congress victory will be hoisted in the entire district and Haryana.

I am not going anywhere, I will stay in Congress – Selja
After the rebellion in the Congress, speculations that Selja would join the BJP gained momentum. It is being said that BJP has offered Selja to join their party. When Shelja was asked about this in a news channel program, she categorically denied it. Selja said that I am not going anywhere and will stay only in Congress. Along with this, he also gave his reaction on Hooda’s statement.
Time can tell a lot… Shailja on Hooda’s statement
On Hooda’s statement of calling her ‘sister’, Shelja said time tells many things. Be called sister and get respect too. Selja said that I have my own place in the party. I do not suffer from any inferiority complex. I wanted to contest from Uklana, but did not get ticket. This does not mean that I have ceased to exist in politics.
There will be more opportunities in the future. Also, on the question of becoming the chief minister, he said that it has not been decided yet. The party high command will take a decision on this. Hooda said that Selja is a respected Congress leader and also our sister. There is no difference of any kind in the party.
