In Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, miscreants have exposed the murder of a student preparing for MPPSC. The police have arrested the accused of murder. His remaining 9 accomplices are still absconding. During police interrogation, the arrested accused has given the reason for the murder. Over a trivial matter, the miscreants chased down the student and hacked him to death with knives. The deceased student was traveling with his friend on the day of the incident. He was also badly beaten. He saved his life by running for one and a half kilometers in a bloody condition.
Explaining the matter, Superintendent of Police Aditya Pratap Singh said that information was received that the accused was hiding in the bushes near Baba Mandir. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and arrested the prime accused of the murder, Karthik alias Babu Chaudhary. On seeing the police, the accused tried to run away which fractured his leg. He has been admitted to a medical hospital for treatment. The arrested accused is a misdemeanor from Karthik area. Dozens of cases of extortion, murder, neglect and threats have been registered against him.
Due to which the student was killed
The police have identified all the 10 accused based on the CCTV cameras installed around the incident site. One of these accused has been arrested by the police. The search for the remaining absconding accused is on. The police asked the arrested accused Karthik the reason for killing the student Shubham. The accused, while confessing to the murder, said that Shubham overtook his car, which he did not like, and killed him.

Shubham Bhumard, a resident of Balaghat, was pursuing MCA from Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur. His friend Manas is an MCA student in Government Engineering College, Jabalpur. Along with studying for MCA, both of them were also preparing for State Services Examination i.e. PSC. On Saturday night of June 16, Shubham was returning to Ranji with his friend Manas Srivastava with the notes. Then around 10 miscreants on a bike started attacking Shubham with deadly weapons and then Manas Srivastava as well.
After being stabbed several times, Manas freed himself from the clutches of the miscreants and ran for his life. After reaching about one and a half kilometers away, Manas informed his other friends about the entire incident. Meanwhile, the miscreants killed Shubham.
