A student from Andhra Pradesh has died under suspicious circumstances in Patna, the capital of Bihar. A student’s body was found hanging in the newly constructed campus of National Institute of Technology, Bihta. The deceased was a second year student in the same institution. Due to which the angry fellow students created a ruckus. He sat at the gate of NIT with a placard in hand. Late at night, the students staged a dharna there.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The dead body of the student was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Late into the night, students of both Bihta and Patna NITs sat at the gates demanding a probe into the incident. Police have registered a case and started investigation. Evidence has been collected from the scene. The friends of the dead student are being questioned. The family of the deceased has been informed.

The incident took place late on Friday night at the NIT campus in Bihta. According to information, a student of NIT Patna has died under suspicious circumstances. As soon as the news of the student’s death came, the whole campus was in a sensation. According to the police, the name of the deceased student is Pallavi Reddy. She was a second year student of Electronics and Communication Engineering in the institute. The deceased student is said to be a resident of Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh. The student was studying in the institute in 2023 batch.

Senior officials of NIT Patna reached the spot after the death of a student under suspicious circumstances. After receiving information about the incident, the local police are busy investigating the reason behind it. Students of Patna and Bihta NIT gathered in the campus at night after getting the news of the student’s death. He started creating a ruckus demanding an inquiry into the incident and action. The police explained a lot to the students. The angry students sat on strike outside the campus gate. The police have sent the body of the student for postmortem. Police say that the cause behind the student’s death is being investigated.
