Anand L Rai gives an update on Tanu Weds Manu
Noted Bollywood director Anand L Rai has given many hits so far, including Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Its sequel, Tanu Weds Manu, released in 2011, was also well received. Now the director is all set to make the third part of the film. At the IIFA Awards 2024 held in Abu Dhabi, Anand L Rai gave an update about the third installment of Tanu Weds Manu.
A while ago, Anand L Rai confirmed that he will make the third part of the film. Now the director spoke about Tanu Weds Manu during the IIFA Awards 2024 and said that this time he will come up with a new story in the third part of the film.
Tanu Weds Manu will have a different story
Speaking to the media during the IIFA Awards, Anand L Rai said, “I don’t want to repeat the previous story in the third part of this film, so I want to give people a new story that I am working on. The third part of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ will be completely different from the first two parts.”
Anand L Rai praised Kangana
During the conversation, the director was seen praising Kangana Ranaut. Anand L Rai said, “Kangana is a great actress. This is why she could give successful films like Tanu Weds Manu. Kangana is a very sensitive and compassionate person. I am planning to work with him in my next project. Just once my story is ready. As an MP I think he is very intelligent. He can play both actor and politician roles well.
When will this movie release?
On the film’s release, Anand L Rai said that fans will have to wait a bit for it. There is no word on when the film will release, as the story is still being worked on.
