An 11-year-old girl who went to play was raped
Due to increasing cases of crime against women, it is becoming increasingly difficult to predict where girls and women are safe and for how long. One such case has come to light from Jalgaon in Maharashtra. An innocent 11-year-old girl was playing hide-and-seek with her friends when a 40-year-old man locked her in a room where she went to hide and raped her.
The girl kept screaming, but the man continued to torture her. The young man also threatened to kill the girl. He said he would kill the girl if she told anyone about his deeds. The girl reached home and tearfully narrated the entire incident to her family, after which she filed a complaint at the police station against a man named Siddharth Wankhede. The accused has been arrested.

On the day of the incident, like every day, the girl was playing hide and seek with her friends. She sneaked into a room, seeing her going into the room, the accused also entered the room and closed the door of the room. After this he also switched off the light and pressed the girl’s mouth to stop her from screaming and committed the heinous act of rape. The accused threatened to kill the girl. After the incident, the accused fled to Mumbai fearing the police, but was arrested after a police raid.
The police are interrogating the accused and trying to bring out the truth of the case. The accused will be produced in court. A medical examination of the girl will also be done and further action will be taken after the report.
