Khadai and jaggery also get GI tag
According to Dr. Rajinikanth, Ayodhya is the only place in the world where Khadau ruled for 14 years. Since that time, Khadau has been given a very sacred status not only in Awadh region but also among Sanatan lovers. Khadau of various sizes and designs are made in Ayodhya. People also buy khadai from here for worship. Similarly, there is no answer to the sweetness of jaggery here. The climate here and the waters of Saryu have a lot of influence on this gourd.
