A helicopter was stolen in Meerut

There has been a new twist in the case of helicopter robbery at the airstrip in Meerut. This is an incident three months ago in which a pilot of an aviation company complained that he was assaulted and mistreated and also alleged that parts of a helicopter parked at the helipad were stolen. However, while investigating the matter, the police have categorically ruled out the possibility of helicopter robbery.

The pilot of the aviation company lodged a complaint with the police, after which the police investigated the matter. The police investigation revealed that the whole dispute was one of partnership, while no robbery was committed.

Alleged robbery of helicopter parts

There was an allegation of looting and removing parts from a helicopter parked at the airstrip in Partapur, Meerut. The matter soon caught fire. After the complaint, the SSP investigated the matter and prima facie found it to be a partnership dispute. Meerut SSP Vipin Tada has ordered the ASP to investigate this. Now the case will be investigated as to why the pilot said that the parts of the helicopter were stolen and what happened in this case?

In the pilot’s complaint?

A petition was given to the Meerut SSP on behalf of the helicopter pilot Captain Ravindra Singh stating that parts of the helicopter VT TBB were being dismantled from Partapur airstrip and taken to the by-road. In the complaint, the pilot said that a technician from the Partapur airstrip called and informed that some people were unpacking the luggage from the helicopter VT TBB. The pilot further stated that as he was a helicopter pilot and had responsibility, he immediately left home and reached the airstrip. According to the pilot, when he saw there, 15-20 people were opening the helicopter, though it was not clear what the opening of the helicopter meant.

The SSP denied the robbery

The pilot clearly stated in his complaint that when he tried to stop the people, they threatened to kill him and scuffled with him. The pilot further stated that he immediately called the Partapur police station and gave this information. After this, the police immediately reached the spot and brought the people to the police station. The SSP has handed over the investigation of the entire matter to CO Brahmapuri and has asked for a report soon. The case is very complex, so no conclusion has been reached until the investigation is over. This matter is being reported on 10 May 2024.
