Hina Khan suffers from mucositis in between breast cancer
Actress Hina Khan of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame is going through tough times these days. Hina is battling third stage breast cancer. Even in these difficult times, Hina continues to encourage and update people through her posts. Hina’s chemotherapy is going on. In such a situation it also keeps on giving information about its side effects. Similarly, Hina recently revealed that she has a disease called mucositis. This disease is caused due to the side effect of chemotherapy.
Hina has sought advice from fans to ease her troubles. He wrote in an Insta post – “I am suffering from mucositis. However, I don’t do anything without a doctor’s advice. Doctors are telling everything how to cure it. In such a situation, if any of you are struggling with this or know of a cure, please advise me. The actress further wrote, “It is becoming very difficult as I cannot eat anything. Your prayers will be very useful for me. Please tell me.”

What is mucositis?
Mucositis is a problem with inflammation and pain in the mouth or intestines. The disease usually starts about 7-10 days after receiving chemo. Mostly it causes swelling inside the mouth. Human mucus membrane is damaged in this disease. However, if given proper treatment, the disease gets cured within 10 to 15 days. Even in such difficult times, the actress remains very active. Hina has undergone five chemotherapy treatments. There are still three left.
