What advice did Amitabh Bachchan give to Akshay Kumar?

Akshay Kumar is a Bollywood actor who is known for doing more films in a year than any other star. He easily releases three to four films in a year. However, most of his films have been flops in the last few years. When his films flop, talk starts that Akshay should do fewer films and be selective. Now Akshay himself has answered this.

Akshay said in an interview to Galata Plus that if he does only two films a year, there is no guarantee that he will be a hit. Akshay said he had a supporting role in ‘OMG 2’ and gave 12 days for that film and 45 days for Jolly LLB. He says filmmakers and producers cannot impose themselves on them more than they need to.

He further said about his previous flop ‘Bade Mian Chhote Mian’ that he had given 80 days for that film, but “was it destroyed”. Akshay also said, “I have seen films flop by people in the industry who do selective work. It happens in our industry that if you give a flop, you stop getting work. In the interview, he also mentioned Amitabh Bachchan and said that Big B once advised him.
