Five films are set to compete fiercely at the box office this Independence Day. But almost 5 days before this megaclash, the makers of Shraddha Kapoor’s movie Stree 2 have taken a step, which can increase the troubles of many big and veteran stars. On Saturday, the makers of Stree 2 shared a collaboration post on Instagram, which also features Shraddha Kapoor. The post read, “Advance booking for Stree 2 has opened. She is a woman, she can do anything. So it’s coming a night early, just for you…Stree 2, Legends is back on the eve of Independence Day, 14th August 2024 starting a night show at 9.30 pm.”

However, the main competition in the Hindi belt is between Khel Khel Mein Ved and Stree 2. Because no movie of Chiyan Vikram and Ram Pothineni has been released in Hindi before. Stree 2 is the second part of the hit horror comedy Stree released in 2018. People liked its first part a lot. The film had a budget of around Rs 30 crore and did a business of around Rs 130 crore at the domestic box office. Apart from this, the film earned a whopping Rs 182 crore at the worldwide box office. It was the ninth highest grossing film of 2018.
Happy with the success of the first part, the makers are now bringing the second part. It is produced under the banner of Madoc Films. Apart from Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao, actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz will be seen in Stree 2. Varun Dhawan will also be seen doing a cameo in this film. Like the first part, this film is also directed by Amar Kaushik.
