India becomes the world’s largest Internet consumer
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) said at the 47th Annual General Meeting that India is the world’s largest internet market. In this market, Jio has emerged as a global internet company with its 49 million customers. Jio’s customers use an average of more than 30 GB of data every day. He said that India has now become the world’s largest data market. Reliance Jio has become the world’s largest mobile data company in just 8 years.
The situation is that 8 percent of the world’s mobile data traffic runs on Jio’s network alone. Jio has left many internet companies in the world behind by achieving a share of around 8 percent in global traffic. He further said that it has been just eight years since the inception of Jio and in eight years, Jio has become the largest mobile data company in the world.
Jio is the largest company in the world in this area.
Jio’s digital service has brought the ease of home service in the country. Jio is also one of the largest companies in the world in terms of digital home service. Jio provides digital services to over three crore households. Jio AirFiber aims to reach a record 10 crore households by connecting 10 lakh homes every 30 days. Mukesh Ambani also spoke about Jio’s 5G and 6G technology. According to him, Jio has filed 350 patent applications in the field of 5G and 6G.
