Bihar’s strong leader Anant Singh

The Patna High Court has pronounced a major decision in the case of AK 47 and bullet proof jacket being recovered from the house of former Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA and strong leader Anant Singh. After seeing and hearing all the parties, the court has made it clear that these weapons do not belong to Anant Singh. At the same time, the Bihar Police, which had so far been claiming that the weapons were found inside Anant Singh’s house, could not answer it in court. On the one hand, this decision of the court has given relief to Anant Singh, on the other hand, a big question has been raised on the confession of the police that the AK 47 and bullet proof jacket were with the police. was seized from Anant Singh.

Anant Singh was already sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment by the District Court in the same case, but Anant Singh challenged the lower court’s decision in the Patna High Court, where he has now been honorably acquitted. Anant Singh surrendered in the Saket Court of Delhi in the year 2016 after the matter became heated. Since he has been in jail since there are no other cases against him, it is expected that he may be released from jail on Thursday.

Weapons were recovered from IPS Lippi Singh

After surrendering to the Delhi court, IPS Lippi Singh himself reached Delhi from Patna to seek the transit remand of Anant Singh. IPS Lippi Singh raided Ananth Singh’s house in Nadwan and claimed to have found a 47 rifle and several hand grenades in one of his bedrooms besides a bullet proof jacket. When Anant Singh challenged the lower court’s decision in the Patna High Court, Lippi Singh came here to record his statement, however, he and his team could not produce a single piece of evidence in the court to prove that the weapon belonged to Anant Singh only.

Anant Singh questioned Lippi Singh

After seeing the facts, the High Court itself raised questions on the police. Asked whose arms are these? After the decision of the court, now this question is rising in everyone’s mind. People want to know whose weapons these were. Along with this, the question is how these weapons reached Anant Singh’s house. The question is also whether the police themselves kept these weapons in his house. All these questions are necessary because Anant Singh had leveled serious allegations against IPS Lippi Singh before the surrender. After the surrender, he has also said inside and outside the court that IPS Lippi Singh is trying to frame him.

Fear of political competition

When IPS Lippi Singh raided Anant Singh’s house and seized these weapons, Nitish Kumar’s government was in Bihar at that time. At that time, Anant Singh was an RJD MLA and was constantly attacking the Nitish government. So he became a victim of political rivalry. However, after he went to jail, his wife became an MLA and left the RJD to join the JDU. Bihar still has Nitish Kumar’s government, so it has benefited him.

No trace of arms has been found in the Purulia case yet

You may remember the Purulia case of West Bengal. In which a large number of AK 47 and many other sophisticated weapons were released in five villages of Purulia. Out of which two AK 47s were recovered from notorious Uttar Pradesh gangsters Sriprakash Shukla and Anand Pandey. Bandit beauty Phoolan Devi was also claimed to be carrying a 2.2 caliber rifle. It is said that Bihar’s mafia don Suraj Bhan ordered these weapons from Pakistan. At that time the CBI had recovered more than two dozen arms from the consignment, but there are still many arms that even the CBI knows nothing about. The police also claimed to link the AK 47 recovered from Anant Singh’s house to the case.
