Amit Shah, Ajit Pawar

After the victory in the Maharashtra Legislative Council, the Deputy CM of the state Ajit Pawar suddenly reached Delhi on Saturday. He met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Although no formal details of the meeting between the two have emerged, citing sources, it is learned that the upcoming Cabinet expansion was also discussed between them regarding the Legislative Council elections.

In the elections held on Friday for the 11 seats of the Legislative Council, the Mahayuti won a landslide victory over the Mahavikas Aghadi. In this election, Bharatiya Janata Party shocked Sharad Pawar by winning five seats. Ajit Pawar’s NCP and Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena won two seats each. Both Shiv Sena and NCP candidates were elected in the first round.

Also discussed about assembly elections

After the NCP’s success in the Legislative Council elections, various discussions have started taking place in political circles regarding the visit of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. A closed door conversation was held between the two leaders in Delhi. According to the sources, the upcoming assembly elections were also discussed in this meeting but the information could not be disclosed. Ajit Pawar immediately left for Mumbai with this meeting.

This time uncle got a shock

Ajit Pawar’s NCP suffered a major setback in the Lok Sabha elections, with Ajit Pawar winning only one seat. Hence the discussion of uncle being better than nephew started in NCP. But now Bhajit has shocked his uncle in the Legislative Council elections. Ajit Pawar has not allowed any division in his party. It is believed that Ajit Pawar’s party has won because of this.

Accusation-counter-round in Aghadi

Naturally, after the success of this election, the Mahayuti has gained new confidence. On the other hand, in Mahavikas Aghadi, the accusation-rebuttal trend has started. According to sources, seven votes of Congress were divided in this election while Sharad Pawar’s party NCP could not remain united.
