Ahead of the announcement of assembly elections in Maharashtra, the Eknath Shinde government took several big decisions on Monday. The government has made every effort to attract Brahmins and Rajputs also in its decisions. The government has announced the creation of a Mahamandal for OBC Brahmins and Rajputs. A proposal in this regard was also put in the cabinet. Apart from this, the Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch have also been given a big gift. A big announcement has also been made regarding the farmers.

The Cabinet has taken many such decisions which are very important from the electoral point of view. Six demands under Village Development Department have been approved in this meeting. Mainly it was decided to double the salary of Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch in the state. The government said that for gram panchayats with a population of up to 2,000, the salary of the sarpanch of the gram panchayat will be increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 6,000, while the salary of the deputy will be increased from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000.

Government increased the salary of Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch

The salary of the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat whose population is between 2000 to 8000 has been increased from Rs 4000 to Rs 8000. The salary of Deputy Sarpanch has been increased from Rs 1500 to Rs 3000. The salary of Sarpanch has been increased from Rs.5000 to Rs.10000 in those Gram Panchayats with a population of more than 8000. While it has been decided to increase the salary of Deputy Sarpanch from Rs.2000 to Rs.4000. This salary hike will cost the state government an annual Rs. There will be a financial burden of 116 crores.

The post of Gram Sevak and Gram Development Officer will be same.

Along with this, the state cabinet has also approved to convert the posts of Gram Sevak and Gram Vikas Adhikari into one post. For the last few days, there was a constant demand that the post of Gram Sevak and Gram Development Officer should be the same. Finally today the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Gram Sevak and Gram Vikas Adhikari working in the state to the same post.

Gram Panchayat agency got big permission

Also, the Village Development Department has given the Gram Panchayats of the state Rs. It has been decided to give development works up to 15 lakhs as Gram Panchayat Agency. With this decision, gram panchayats with an annual income of up to 75 thousand rupees will be able to undertake work up to 10 lakh rupees as a gram panchayat agency. The annual income of the Gram Panchayats is Rs. 75 thousand is more than that as Gram Panchayat Agency Rs. Can provide work up to 15 lakhs. Adoption of e-tendering system for works above 10 lakh will be mandatory while implementing this decision.
