Currently, there is a BJP government in Rajasthan, in a government led by CM Bhajanlal Sharma, now many BJP leaders are demanding a name change on the lines of UP. BJP leader Gopal Sharma says he feels pain when he sees the name of Jaipur’s main road as Mirza Smile. He said that Mirza Smile was the culprit who did not allow the freedom struggle to continue in Jaipur.
Ramganj bastion of invasion
Gopal Sharma further said that honoring people like Mirza Smile and naming the road is honoring people like Jaichand and Mirzafar. During this time, he raised the demand that the city of Jaipur is also called Chhoti Kashi and is a city associated with the Ram dynasty tradition, but Ramganj is a bastion of complete encroachment. He alleged that no cultured person could go to Ramganj with his sister and daughter in the evening.
The name of the road is Govind Dev Ji
Apart from these demands, there is also a demand to change the name of Ramganj with Muslim population to Prabhu Ramganj. Gopal Sharma says that the city of Jaipur was born on 18 November 1727. It is known all over the world for its beauty. The main deity of the city is Shri Gobind Devji. One has to pass through Mirza Smile Road to reach his temple. This route should also be changed to Govind Dev Ji.
Work will come in handy
Many cities, routes and stations in Uttar Pradesh have been renamed. Many of the names were named after the Mughals or were changed during their time and given an older identity. Similarly, the demand is also increasing in Jaipur now. At the same time, Congress has also clarified its stand on these demands of BJP leaders. Congress leaders say that BJP leaders are only playing politics by making such demands. He said that BJP has to understand that in the next elections people will only want development and will vote only in the name of development.
