A unique case of theft has come to light from Dhamtari in Chhattisgarh. Here, when a group of boys run out of petrol in their bikes, they first steal petrol from another’s bike and then steal the whole bike. The next day when the stolen bike was taken to the repair center for repairs, the boys ran away leaving the bike there because of its high value, which brought the matter to light.

In fact, the complainant, a resident of Khartuli village adjacent to Dhamtari, filed a complaint at Arjuni police station that on May 6 he had parked his bike outside his house and slept at night. When he woke up in the morning, his bike was not outside the house. After searching around, but not finding his bike, he lodged a written complaint of theft at Arjuni police station.

The bike was given on the pretext of missing the key

As soon as a complaint of bike theft was registered here, the Arjuni police started an investigation. Only then did he get the information about repairing the bike. On questioning Manoj Deshmukh of Demar village, he said that on the night of 7th May, a boy named Abdul Rasheed, who lives on rent in Dhamtari, went out for bike repair with two of his friends saying that he has the key of the bike. was lost

Showed lack of money

After the repair, the boys left the bike at the repair center citing lack of money. When the police took Abdul into custody and interrogated him, he confessed everything. He said that his friends Rakesh, Devnath, Bhim and Raj Sahu were involved in the incident. All the accused have been taken into custody and are being strictly interrogated.

The accused had gone to watch cricket

During interrogation, the accused told the police that on May 6, at around 9 pm, Abdul Mohammad had gone to Shyamtrai on his bike. Here Rakesh took Devnath and Bhima on a bike and went to Perpar village to watch cricket. While returning from there, the bike ran out of petrol. These people first drained petrol from a red bike parked in front of a house in Khartuli village on the road and then stole the bike and took it away. They took up the case of lost keys at their familiar repair center in Perewadih, but when the bike was repaired at a cost of Rs 2500, they did not take the money but left the bike at the repair center and ran away.
