After marriage started harassing sister

Sanam’s brother Lalu said that my sister got married to Arfan on 10 December 2017. These people were constantly demanding dowry after marriage. After that, my sister was constantly harassed by her husband and in-laws for not having any children. Due to which we used to treat our sister from many doctors in Etawah. In which the doctors said that he is fine. On 29th August my sister came to her in-laws from her maternal uncle’s house.

Sonam’s nephew Asif said, “We went to drop our aunt on a bike 15 days ago. Our uncle and his family members constantly pressure Day about not having children. They harassed her, due to which our aunt stayed at our house most of the time. Our family members treated aunt in many places. On which the doctor also confirmed his recovery. After that she came to her in-laws but after 15 days these people killed her.

Chaubia Police Station said that the incident site was investigated and inspected. Prima facie, the case appears to be suicide. A post-mortem is being conducted after the body of the woman was recovered and videographed by a panel of three doctors. Based on the postmortem report and the family’s complaint, a case will be registered and further action will be taken.
