Third train derailment plot in 17 days
For the last several days, many conspiracies to derail the train have been coming to the fore. The latest case has come from Rajasthan. There have been several incidents of derailment of passenger and goods trains here in the last 17 days. At 10:30 pm on Sunday night, unidentified people tried to derail a goods train from Phulera to Ahmedabad at Bangar Gram station in Ajmer. Unidentified people tried to derail the train by placing a 70 kg cement block on the track.
The engine of the train broke this block and passed ahead without causing any mishap. The Loko Pilot immediately reported the incident to the Railway Administration after which the RPF and the local Mangaliawas Police Station reached the spot. Investigation revealed that cement blocks were placed on both tracks of the train, implying that an attempt was made to derail the train coming from both sides. An FIR has been filed against unknown persons in this matter.
Formation of SIT to probe the case
Ajmer SP Devendra Kumar said that after registering the FIR, the entire matter is being thoroughly investigated. An SIT has also been formed to probe the matter. Considering the weight of the cement block, it can be said that more than one person can do the work of placing the block on the track. Police are now tracing the numbers based on the location of mobile phones activated during the incident around the railway tracks. Also SIT has been formed to investigate this matter. An attempt was made to derail the train by placing cement blocks on the DFC track.
