How did Akshay Kumar’s BMCM perform on OTT?

Akshay Kumar has been in the limelight since the beginning of the year. He currently has many big films to his credit. Where one film has already been released, on the other hand three films will be released this year. These include ‘Surfira’, ‘Sky Force’ and ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. Apart from this, Akshay Kumar is also working in the sequels of many films. The shooting will also start soon. He is known for his super fast style. Not even one film is finished before the second and third are announced. But the last few years have not been good for him. After back-to-back flops, the expectations he had from Bade Mian Chhote Mian could not be fulfilled.

His Bade Mian Chhote Mian was released on 11th April, but the film flopped badly. This film of 350 crore rupees could not even fulfill its budget. Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, Prithviraj Sukumar worked in the film along with Akshay Kumar.

Akshay Kumar’s BMCM fails on OTT as well

On June 6, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Mian Chhote Mian hit Netflix. After flopping at the box office, Akshay Kumar had high expectations from OTT. But even here the film could not show anything special. Recently the ranking chart of Netflix came out. It has been revealed that Akshay Kumar’s film is trending on Netflix in only one country. At the same time, it has made the top 10 in only 14 countries. At the same time, Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Crew’ has been in the top 10 in 17 countries for a long time. It has entered the top 10, beating OTT debutant Bade Mian Chhote Mian.

Made with a whopping budget of 350 crores, the film has not managed to do anything special even on OTT. Where ‘Bade Mian Chhote Mian’ currently tops the most viewed Indian films with 2.9 million views in its first week. On the other hand, ‘Crew’ managed to get 2.4 million in its third week. In such a situation, it seems that the viewership of Akshay Kumar’s film will drop significantly by the third week. However, it is often seen that even if a film doesn’t do well at the box office, it does wonders on OTT, but Akshay’s Bade Mian Chhote Mian failed in that too.
